Okay, so I made this work by loading a .sbm into the low-res slot saved from prior attempts. I was able to generate the maps. Now I have a new problem, the normal map generated is just the low poly version. It generates this in 15s
In adaptive dmc set Thershold to 0.001, if rendering gets too slow try a higher value like 0.004. Also try to activate subpixel mapping, helps with light artefacts when you don't want to add 50000 samples and bake for 15 hours.
Ah...I didn't catch that. I did as you said and yes, it fixes the hard lines, but now I can't seem to get the specularity to show. I hooked up a multiply with a constant and the spec map and pumped it from 1 to 15 and still no luck.
I'm really excited that they are separating this franchise from the Reeves era movies (as good as 1 and 2 are). The last 15 years have shown that Superman in the hands of talented comic writers can be a very different, nuanced character, and I hope they can grasp that with this film.
Have you tried selecting an object, and using Orbit Selected? There's also sub-object mode. http://docs.autodesk.com/3DSMAX/15/ENU/3ds-Max-Help/index.html?url=files/GUID-6DA741AB-9941-4957-903A-4B998C1C65E7.htm,topicNumber=d30e560456
After 15 mins, the hanging stopped, but it still said "... Cannot decode data." Thanks. I posted the SPP on the allegorithmic help forum as well since I couldn't see a way to post it here. https://forum.allegorithmic.com/index.php?topic=12153.new#new
this post is a few years old just wanted to provide a link to the latest working version I found at http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/uvpipe-mod-by-norman3d UVPipe - Mod by Norman3D Version: 1.2 Date Updated: 03/15/2014 it works
Just saw this like 15 minutes ago haha. According to the kicktraq (which is usually off by a lot) they're going to meet 800%+ of their goal. While they probably won't make that much, I'd say it's safe to assume they'll at least meet their minimum goal.
What is there to refute? This is all hyperbole. And this is why everyone just rolls their eyes, You've known about the Unreal engine for a little over a year and it's the best engine ever made? I've known about it for 15 years, I think it's great but it's not the be-all and end-all.
how is the middle mouse click on the Logitech Revolution and MX? I bought a wireless logitech mouse a few months ago and found that the middle mouse click was difficult to press, so I ended up returning it and going back to my $15 microsoft mouse.
