Wow wtf, mind-blowing... Just thinking about the idea I would've shrugged it off as completely unrealistic and impossible. I don't think I'm able to comprehend the amount of optimization and changes that went into the iPhone build. I'm really wondering how similar it still is in terms of editor interface for the artists? -

Yea personally I'd love a better lighting interface in Toolbag. It's still a great program currently but doing specific lighting can be a bit of a pain in the ass. Some sort of setup like maya where you can look through individual lights and tear off another viewport would be fantastic. -

An adjustable multiplier would be great. If you really wanted to get fancy could you do some sort of adjustable tonal curve? That way you could control mid tone, shadow, and highlight contrast separately. I'm guessing the math and interface work for something like that would be pretty large. -

If the autosave script idea does not work in the end, there are other possible approaches. I really like the little timer bar in Mudbox, flashing red when it's really time to save. Not intrusive at all but works quite well. I am sure something similar could be run within the Photoshop interface! -

Seems like the Netflix360 is trying too hard, or something. It's not getting the same quality that I get from my set top Roku box. The interface is nicer on the 360, but it's trying to do something in the background that adds more strain on the interwebs. Avatars are pretty neat, though. The avatar for Matabus is spot on.… -
Schematic Material Editor for 3ds Max
i love love love schematic interfaces! there are a few of these out there, this one seems nice as it work with most all shaders, even 3rd party stuff. fans of maya's hypershade will like this as well, still in beta, but looks nice, hope to try it out soon http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=440202&page=1&pp=15
