Hey man, I like your take on that concept with the robot. It looks like the leather texture on the strap for his goggles is scaled a bit too big though. Good work on it!
Credit to Henry Santos for creating and sharing this wonderfully modeled, textured, and rigged robot. I love learning how to animate with it. http://community.thefoundry.co.uk/asset/scenes/view.aspx?id=3536
I don't know why but this kind of reminds of robot wars xD Gets some sparks going on in that menu, unless the gears are well oiled, in which case, excellent. xD
package contents/comparison is here. personally I made do without the robot dog and hoody :) http://store.origin.com/store/eaemea/en_IE/html/pbPage.mass-effect-3-IE/
Its a steam saw set. SSS! The steam means its working. Yea but it doesn't really look steampuck, if anything it looks like a sci-fi lumberjack robot suit.
It's a very robotic animation. The first thing I think you should do is make it loop, as right now it is just freezing on the middle, and last frame, instead of transitioning nicely.
This is not Major Motoko Kusanagi. Looks like a cheap american-made rip-off. We all know that Americans can't built cute robots, only the Japanese can do it. >:)
I like the meat hook and robot arm for the props, though the vehicles look like a fun challenge as well. Some of the Hand Painted Environments look challenging, yet intriguing.
