They may be able to get close BUT they would be crippled using UDK. You need source code access instead of only a scripting language so you can do advanced things :) . I pretty much have the same competitive nature. I no longer have enough time to dedicate to video games for extended periods of time, so expecting to be much better than the avg, is just not practical. Personally, I actively avoid competitive multiplayer games. I hate losing that much. I enjoy co-op/single player games…
