Hey Orb - what do you mean by this? I thought adding images with the "on board forum function" would be ok?! What do you suggest? Link images from 3rd party web-services? Can you recomment a good and free one? Maybe also Mac osx integrated?! Cheers! -

I would recommend going and taking a look or giving them a call for who the instructors are. I Would not post crap like that here. Also, I would like to add that they are not at a physical location anymore it seems, but still offer the service instruction. So give them a call to see what they still offer. -

The only issue I can see here is that Quixel only runs on Windows. This challenge isn't even trying to be platform agnostic for artists ;) It does look like a cool bit of software though, lets hope they service Mac based game developers one day (of which there are a lot these days, thanks to Unity) -

Megascan is not for people who bought the Suite nor for those who didn't,it's a completely different service sold separately,and Quixel will certainly communicate it's pricing when i will be done :) The textures that DDO uses for it's materials are part of a "Megascan Starter Pack" which is i think natively in Quixel… -

No limits on bandwidth, there is a processing limit placed on the server to prevent any one service from taking over. Although in the 5 years of having these servers I've rarely seen that limit being hit. Although if this becomes an issue I have several servers that can share the load. Oh and nice site :D -

Looks like a memory leak, but finding the source of it will be hard. Is you Maya version up to date ? (There is a service pack 2 available for Maya 2013) I remember having a memory leak like this when I was using Softimage, it was an issue with my GPU driver, you can maybe try an update of it too ? -

I'm in the same boat, except I moved to a huge island...... Australia. :) I'm in Western Aus, living 5 min from the city centre and I've had a nightmare experience trying to get a decent Internet service. But, I just do as @thomasp does, upload in .7z categories : meshes, textures, etc. -

I've branched out from game art into architectural VR, also medical equipment modeling for VR, ui art for mobile, etc. Those jobs tend to pay quite a bit more than game art, since architectural/medical/simulation clients are used to paying larger sums for professional services. -
