How about making it a bit more Mass Effect-y and use clean colours with little to no damage at all? Playing with whites and blacks could make the different parts way more readable.
Are you using the zBrush 4? You could just use a clipping brush. That would get rid of the end of the tongue right away, then you could just sculpt in the surface damage/noise.
Well from the article in the links it is suggested they're not making it harder by increasing number of hits or damage taken etc but by expanding on the strategies that the players can perform which means more ways to die.
Loving the dragon man! I like how you made the wings translucent. well done man! Seems like that gun lance could do some serious damage to another dragon
Possible that the damage caused that is shown here wasn't caused by Godzilla? There are other monsters in the film. And as far as the hole in the building being a tribute to the 98 Godzilla movie? There's nothing in that film that deserves a tribute, lol.
Cool idea with the muscle/bone damage thingy. Makes me wonder what bones actually look like "fresh". Are they really bright white/yellow? I'll leave the googling up to you :)
Thanks guys! I did try to make the left eye look damaged but in the end i did prefered to look of the undamaged one :) So im gonna call this one done! :D
Thanks Mr Ace! mainly for the details, i Used Dragged Alphas Combined with Layers+Morph targets The bigger damages like one the botom of the shirt are sculptig with clay buildup. thanks again!
Look at it this way .. is it better for your in-house artists to be creating damaged pillar #147 or is it better to outsource that piece and get your guys working on hero pieces or unique things that make the game special?
Just a thought, if he's going for the warrior look, maybe put some armor and spikes on the back legs so he does some gruesome damage if he kicks with his back legs.
