Hi i am a community college student really interested in character design and was wondering how good a pc I would need to work with high poly design on 3d Max and would I also need a drawing tablet to get into any advanced work? This is fucking amazing btw great work!!!!
I think PS Mobile apps are also not allowed to utilize the full power of the Vita, which is strange. And bad, considering it's already a mobile device with lower specs than phones released in the last year or two, not to even mention tablets. I wouldn't even consider releasing a 3D game to PS Mobile.
Hi thanks for your answer , yeah i'm not enough familiar with texture making to use the best of it for the moment especially Normal maps , Specular etc... but i'm trying. I used Maya , Photoshop and my graphical tablet . If you have any comment on the wireframe be welcome :) I'll check out your work then !
Well... you could always crush up some No Doz (caffeine tablets) and put the powder in whatever drink you want. And yea I loves me the Joe... If I can see through it you're not brewing it right. If its too bitter then you're drinking the wrong stuff, just like beer.
Thought the stock needed a design, so I whipped one up on my tablet Started trying different colour combinations I apologise for the picture quality as I took these all on my phone to send to my friends to ask if they liked certain colours or not But in the end I settled on the final design
Gir posted some good advice to me. Now that I have a concept draw her from every angle I can. Make so that when making the transition to 3D I know where everything goes. Going to pull out the tablet and start following his advice tonight.
@ ike_ike: What!? lol... this one totally not related with chinese word XD @mrrevolution: Photoshop, brush: normal hard edge round brush with pen pressure on. (with wacom tablet) anyway i changed the upside down cross thingy, use "大" better, so it will sway away from the cross thingy..
Thank you for your advice, Nam.Nguyen. I was hesitating about the monitor size, since my graphics tablet is M size. So I was thinking which one will be comfortable to draw and to work in Maya. And about IPS panel, I read about the IPS-glow effect, does it bother much?
Man, work today was brutal. Only practiced 1.5 hours cuz i'm a lazy bum. Gotta work on that. Organized my desktop a bit more, almost perfect. Tablet takes some getting used to. Not too bad though, guessing it will take about a week to feel normal. That's all for today.
I've been using my wacom tablet for literally everything the last 6+ years. No longer get wrist pains or finger pains like I did when I used my mouse. Takes a bit to get used to modeling with a wacom but once you get used to it there is no going back.
