Quickie update: I added damage to the stone bricks (it uses a vertex shader, basically I just added a second normal map and with some magic blended them), and a simple spec map as well.
Endless belts, just damage, head/face work left hopefully @Terminator2: Nice work, the collar folds need work though. @stevston89: Great base, belts and skirt look really good.
Hi there, We're Splash Damage, a AAA game studio based in Bromley (close to London). Just on here to see some of the work that's going on here and maybe offer some jobs if we can :D
Is copying cover letter really that damaging? I sounds so trivial... usually when I'm asked to review some applicants I go straight to their reel. I don't even read their applications.
Your edges will look nicer, plus you could add some subtle grain and damage. And it's not a lot of work for such a simple object. Depends on wether you think you have the texture budget though!
Very cool! Nice modeling. I would like to see some damage, maybe laser scorches and more color break up. I think it would make a world of difference for your model.
Well, we've got six or seven confirmed right now - the Splash Damage lot are conspicuous by their absence.... I bet they go to a completely different Nando's to feel all smug for working on such an awesome title. :)
I find it hard to believe that the enemies would adopt wholly new strategies at higher difficulty levels other than increased accuracy and damage. And that wouldn't do anything about the huge amounts of repetition.
So Silver Surfer just flies through a heap of things meanwhile the 'hero' burns and smashes his way the city causing property damage and risking lives. Yeah. Dude just wants to surf.
Wow, awesome idea and concept, lookin good! I think it would make it more freaky if you would damage/bend one of the rear wheels to have a lumpy animation while he moves.
