You weight mostly to the twist bones down by the wrist and blend it more to the main forearm bone the closer you get to the elbow. None that I'm aware of, Skan. If you need double-sided geometry in 3DO, you will need to duplicate the faces and flip them before exporting the model. @Luken Not sure if by "light leaks" you mean light map bleeding, or light coming through mesh where it shouldn't.
