      Houdini. It's crazy how quickly you can whip up something with multi-threaded vex nodes that would have taken eons to traditionally code by hand.

      Thanks guys, quickly tried Flickr, great resource but the fact you can't save is really quite lame, Pintrest seems decent though, thanks for the recommendations.

      I think this looks fantastic. Though the mirrored-ness of the arms did stick out pretty quickly and I couldn't look away from them afterwards.

      Interesting, beancube, will try that - is there a documentation of what this setting actually does somewhere? All I can google up quickly is along the lines of "makes gfx gooder"...

      This looks very, very cool for concept work and pre-production - to quickly throw around base fur and hair to paint over later! Very interesting as usual.

      You need a better action pose. Get the model quickly rigged using a free rig off of Creative Crash and get it into a more gesturally active pose.
