Ok, I earned the priviledge to drive. More so than most. At 16, I believe you get a limited license. That prevents you from driving after 9pm. High School football games end after 10pm, so I was hassled by cops often. In my hometown, women must have their bodies covered by at least 16 yards of cloth at all times. This law…
My attempt to make an underwater scene in Unreal Engine 4. This is a Graduation Project where I wanted to test out the limits of the new engine and get better at realistic scenes/PBR materials. This project also runs on an Oculus Rift. Current status: Some pictures without the fog:
Few sculpts i've finished recently, figured i'd share and get crits before bakes happen. They are all for a gritty/dark gothic fantasy game side project. Tear them apart :) Religious warrior. Demon....zombie...dembie? Static broken statue asset. Cheers.
I feel like a total noob for asking this. Does anyone have any suggestions for modeling a statue face? For some reason it is not clicking with me right now. I am looking to model a buddha type face that has been carved into a block of stone like the image here.
Hey all, these are the near final renders for my gothic citadel! Lighting and textures may change, but other than that, the only geometry missing are statues/sculptures, which I'll probably get to much later on. Here are the pictures: I'd love to hear thoughts and critique!
Finally took an hour of spare time to deliver some drastic changes, scrapped the original ceiling and the walls in favor of a more curvy-blocky oval shape near the windows and have begun adding in geometric details (conduits, flow bulkheads, a status display).
site looks 10X better :) on your reel, the part with the statue pan in the engine, its really dark. Its a shame because you next segment shows the high poly in all its glory. Would be nice to recapture that scene with better lighting :)
Hello, there's a second artwork about the huge statues that will stand on the surrounding celestial path (will draw this part of the concept as soon as I got time enough :/ ). Hope you like it, please feel free to comment despite the lack of 3D.......yet ^^ See you ;)
That's pretty incredible! Now if you really want to jump the shark, add geological process passes and different types of minerals & surface textures; chondrites, composites, etc... I will use this to make worn down looking Egyptian statues very quickly! :) Cheers
Current status - I think I like the face now but I can already feel my mind changing. I think maybe her eyes are a little too big. I'll have to not look at it for a while and come back to it after work.
