Everyone currently excited about or embracing procedural generation should be even more excited about this because it's more intelligent procedural generation. If you're worried that a robot will take your job, make yourself more useful :p

Absolutely. To my experience QuadRemesher works great on both organic and hard-surface (mech, robot, etc.) characters. See my post above for a workflow suggestion.
For some reason, the most exciting thing about the trailer for me, was when the little robot bumped up against the roadblock and shook from the impact at 1:34
@SolxKyo Looks good so far. If you're looking for more reference, boston dynamics robots might be helpful. They all seem to have a good range of motion.
Like the b/w painting with the robots, kind of reminds me of some of Mangnus Fallgren's illustrations for Mutant - one of Sweden's most famous RPGs. Keep it up :)
