More composition playing, tightening up areas so there's no major gaps for the eye to wonder, still seeing what works best for this small focused area. A lot of diffuse only with temp specs for now, getting the diffuse down for the photo-sourced assets just to define some colour and detail. Tree is just the plant scaled… -

That did work, although for some reason my 250 halftracks are still showing up much lighter than my other vehicles. Even though my .tga diffuse map is much darker. sorry not coloured spec... if you lerp between the diffuse and the spec/reflection with fresnel it gives you a much more metal like material... dont add it blend it basically kind of going on the basis that reflection is focused light bounce...the more a material is focused the less un-focused bounce light there is...this…
