512x512 map with 5988 tris AO bake. C&C are welcome. The small mistakes in the AO I am just going to hand paint out instead of wasting so much time trying to get it perfect when I can spend half the time and paint it out just the same.
I must be doing something stupid here. I'm using the Cryengine 3 free SDK but when I export the model I cannot find it in the engine. I've tried putting cfg file in: C:\Cryengine\Editor\Objects\ C:\Cryengine\Game\Levels\Testmap\ Neither seems to work.
what ? That makes no sense justin, i said im sorry for the studio or anyone to loose there job. But the business model EA has rolled out for the C&C franchise has killed it. It has nothing to do with being underappreciated the work on the games is always stellar it has to do with management and upper EA
I tried both typing "Roadkill" and "roadkill" and have the script installed both in C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\maya\2009-x64\scripts and C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\maya\scripts... I'm running Maya 2009 x64 btw... Any other suggestions?

KDR: I installed Blender on a computer during my class. But I really couldn't use the program to show them anything Python related. That was years ago when the app was 10x worse than it is now. I know about XSI being Python compatible with scripts. That's awesome. I just try to keep my XSI fanboyism to a minimum here. hehe…
It is indeed a fuzzy line. You also have to understand that there are 2 kinds of tools development roles. Some job ads define "tools developers" as people who develop engine editor related tools, e.g. for Unity, for Unreal or for an in-house engine editor. These usually require C++ and C# skills. The other tools are art…
here is the complete code from the video what I meant was that lowercase "L" in "for i in l to obj.NumVerts do" appears to be undeclared. function exportMesh obj fileName origin:obj = ( local file = createFile fileName, vertStore = #(), numFrames = (animationRange.end - animationRange.start).frame as integer format "%,…
Hey chaps, the other day I was extracting some files with GCFScape and wanted to convert a ton of vtf textures to tga. So I wrote some windows batch file commands that let you drag a directory full of vtfs onto the bat and runs vtf2tga on each item. The original one I wrote uses forfiles, but apparently that doesn't work…
I didn't use certain concept, but only references and maybe thats why I overlooked noisiness of small props :c . Environment could be a nice addition to the scene and I could add environment reflections with it, just didn't think about it. Thanks for the feedback! I will use this knowledge in future projects! c:
