It's amazing that 600 is only 6 percent of their workforce... It's especially interesting that their revenue increased 33% this year yet they still have to do this. Best of luck to anyone who lost their job. Hopefully after the elections are over and the economy calms down a touch there will be a lot of job opportunities…
The money sounds OK. Should leave you with about 1600-1700 per month after tax (tax is pretty high 33-42% on that part of the scale). I think you should be able to live off that.
I was 33. I wish I had told myself to start watering the foundation of your house more often so you won't have to pay for foundation repairs ten years from now, dammit!
Hello there! I'm realizing my 3D portfolio for gaming industry as 3D vehicle artist. I've finished Alfaromeo 33 Stradale. It's a mid-poly model done with Maya, Substance Painter and Marmoset. here there's the link to artstation, i hope you like it. Enjoy https://www.artstation.com/gaucho 👻
The Mac Pro exposed! http://www.powermax.com/articles_reviews/article.php?id=33 This guy sure got more than the standard unit.. Quadro... I will say it appears to have some nice cooling, that fan rack was smooth and talk about heatsinks, I bet they add some weight to the unit.
Note - I got the triangle count wrong for my character. It is actually 33 174 triangles. That's what I get for rushing to submit this, haha. Edit: Here are additional texture sheet shots, not part of my official submission:
I don't want to be harsh but the main page looks ugly and most of the stuff doesn't look as good as it does when its opened up large. And the white to black gradient should be changed to 33% black to 66% black
@MACHIN3 Here is Max's flow connect in use: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-zIN8d_J94&t=6m33s Skip to 6:33 in the video. Your addon already sounds cool that it's "more than that and smarter than that". :D
I understand. I was thinking you could hide the transitions with fake motion blur. Ribbons with swoosh textures, rotating quickly around, scaling upwards to cover the transition, then scaling down inside the model afterwards. Like the twirling effect in The Mask https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eEQomU6iFtw#t=33
