IGN review is in, and it sounds promising. I don't really keep up with the 'who's who' of reviewers so I don't know how reliable their reviews are. Either way it certainly sounds like Shift 2 has carried over a lot of my favourite awesome from the first game. http://uk.xbox360.ign.com/articles/115/1157453p1.html The…
Thinking back to my time in school: (7 * 24) = 168 - Total hours in a week... (7 * 7) + 4 = 53 - Sleep, Shower (the + 4 is extra sleep on weekends) (2 * 7) = 14 - Eat (1.5 * 7) = 10.5 - Commute (2.5 * 6) = 15 - Class (2 * 7) = 14 - Hanging out with friends, Shopping, Laundry (15) = 15 - Work (121.5 - 7.5) - Probably half…
I see these: "need stability financially and in terms of lifestyle" and "I know that I'm not prepared to move from state to state every few years for the sake of work. Nor am I willing to stomach months of unemployment" And I immediately think that, unfortunately, games may not be the best thing for you at this point in…
Thanks for the review! The typical 2048 texture screenratio is exactly the info I was looking for. As for the cables, is there a way to get a longer 12WX cable? The one that goes out of the converter, on the bottom right of your pic. I would love to have one of 5 meters long (that'd be like, 15feet?) to be able to move the…
I don't know if that's quality RAM, but I heard OCZ is not as good as it once was. Vista label on RAM is more of gimmick since it is more dependent on the motherboard which will make it more compatible. RAM is really cheap now you could get 2X2 GB PC2-6400 which is slightly faster set for $115-$130. I think that RAM would…
There are 2 versions. The 0.9 GPL edition and the 1.5 paid for version. The 0.9 is included in trunk and there are plans to have the 1.5 edition included after a while (between 5-9 months from July 2011) The 1.5 edition has faster algorithms and more editing options etc. :) http://www.bsurfaces.info/
I propose Rexel Workflow when it comes to setting texel density while unwrapping. This workflow is for static images and is camera-dependent. Rexel is the final rendered pixel. Let’s say we have a scene with a vehicle model: an airplane with detailed objects and a few cameras, some distant for an overall view, but some for…

[ QUOTE ] I have the KDS-50A2000. It's a 50" model. Previously, I had a 36" SonyWega tube HDTV. [/ QUOTE ] yeah, i used to have a 50 inch tv.. untill the darn thing started having serious convergence problems (in the processing side of the image, not the tubes)... which would have costed too much to fix. recently i bought…
