This is getting frustrating. My main computer is a Mac, and I boot camp to PC for UDK and Max. When I view the renders on PC and inside UDK, they aren't dark. Buff up on texturing and materialing too. Just look at how the surface response changes across a real world object and try replicate that. A lot of your guns are look freshly made out of the box, it'd be nice to see worn varnish down to wood on the stocks, grime cutting into the specular on the main metal or slightly more… -

Roo: you can choose between rotating around selection or around a framed selection. I haven't tried the latter yet, as i've always used (and liked) rotating around the selection. So i don't think that covers what you're asking for, but please do start a feature request for it, chances are you're not alone in wanting it.…
