I'm having the same problem. I JUST started a Jinx Illustration. Unfortunately, you can not use someone else's concept. This would be in essence working as a team and it is also not OK to use someone else's concept without permission.

Soccerman, It's actually "self illumination". Global Illumination is a type of lighting technique, that uses direct light as well as bounce light (radiosity) to light your scene. Self illumination the property that defines the percentage of light and shadow affecting an object.

If you have a UDK source licence, sure. A quick grep through the UDK script source doesn't come up with options to turn self shadows off, just the known options for no shadows at all or self shadow only.. etc.
That report to email doesn't look like a very good system :) Wouldn't it be better if a post could only be reported once. So that if someone else reports it it says "Thank you for reporting but someone else has already beaten you to it."
