Nice portfolio man! That WW2 scene, the bridge specifically, reminds me of Silent Hill Homecoming, prolly cause I was just playing it. The site is very clean and easy to navigate so hats off! I've seen some pretty bad ports, even my own.
EP3 was all about making the bridge back to the story that began back in 1977. I hated the whiny portrayal of pre- Vader Anakin until lately I came to realize that Mark Hamill played young Luke as a whiny slacker -- it's simply a genetic trait in Skywalker teens.
Oh, hadnt seen this one. This is looking really great! Are you intending to give those big pilalrs with the green lines more detail, or perhaps darkening them a bit? In my opinion, they dont quite match the detail and finish the rest of the scene has. I really like the long bridge thing :)
Hey paro, thanks for the feedback. I will look into the scale of the water material I will also try out lightening the blue cave area and see how it goes. The mushrooms material I will look into re working. I will also make the bridge supports fit better into the water.. Thanks Cheese and duxun.
Hey I really love your work it's really coming along great. The only thing I could say is that the eyes seem a little far apart and the bridge of the nose could probably be a bit bigger/ straighter. In the reference picture the nose just looks less curved and more straight and strong.
Cannot wait for this either. Super pumped. Also not expecting some amazing movie but hoping it will be something memorable, awesome and entertaining. Main character almost always looks like he is about to cry. Maybe his eyes or some shit. 3D Jeff Bridges is crazy awesome. Chick is smokin hot.
@lotet Thanks! :D I'm happy with the final result, and above everything it helped me take first steps towards a visual style and pipeline for future assets. What's new today - progress on the first level. This bridge / platform will serve as a tutorial before ending in open space. And some drones closeup!
top eyelids should be tad smaller, and just above it add some fat to fill out the concave area next to the nose bridge. flesh the glabella and brow bone for strong look. nostrils seem abit thick and the septum doesnt seem to hang low enough. its coming along nicely !
i think they're great, but i honestly prefer sculptris for base meshes now. it's really easy to just flesh out ideas without worrying about topology, yet still getting in the sculpting right away. meshmixer is also awesome if you need holes/connecting bridges in your sculpt.
Pretty dang good for Wings 3D :D Your model is several, try connecting it up, maybe using bridge or weld? For a start, try where the exhaust meets the back of the seat. The two chamfered, sticking up blocks. As I say pretty lush so far, keep it up. H
