Hi, Here is a little update about our scene. As you can see, we want to make a little island with some rock and a tree. The tree will be made with Blender. Same for the rocks
Great atmosphere :) Rock to wall transition looks too perfect to me - I like how you put tiles on the floor but the concrete wall seems to just grow out of the rock
Emilie Autumn - Face the Wall [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XDPcEN8IeQ[/ame] because she rocks a violin harder than most of the bands in this thread rock their guitars. :poly142:
This is looking great so far. I love the color palette. I think it's worth pushing it a bit more to get it to a really good place for your portfolio. 1. The gray-purple stucco on the walls should have some weathering near the wood beams. Without this it's looking very flat. An example from here on our wiki: 2. There is a…
Super mega wip, but what I'm currently working on. Pulled a lot from Josh Lynch (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/tutorial-creating-rocks-in-substance-designer) and Rogelio Olguin (https://vimeo.com/110562020) on generating rock shapes.
Another question, since my character wil be wrapping and curving itself around a large rock with lots of vegetation can I consider the rock itself to be part of the character polygon limit? (vegetation will be part of the pedestal limit ofc)
Hi everyone, Here is a quick tutorial on how to create Low Poly style rocks, and also how to create Cartoon Rocks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iP-ZAUA8Ga4&index=4&list=PLpPd_BKEUoYi1ha6w28SUq7iYa1NC719E Thanks For Watching!
Man this is awesome work, I really want to see your progress, love the rocks so far :pleased: Question tho: did you sculpted each big island ? or you just "coated" the ground with rocks ? Cheers!
Started working on the textures for this. Coming to grips with learning poly painting and spotlight within ZBrush! I started on the middle rock block - I want it to be sort of a volcanic rock with a hot center that glows out from a few spots.
Also did some rock sketches based on some of the rock forms in the supplied material, trying to pull something together for a turret design. Nothing feels right yet. Might do something in a similar vein to the creep den.
