I demand lossless desktops. OK there I said it, everyone else can relax now. So you know you pretty much have one of the most unique looking things that's been made in UDK. I hope someone from Epic sees this and gets behind it. It's more than worthy.
This is looking a helluva lot better! You may wanna relax the vertical edge loops on the forehead though. Try to keep spacing even in organic models (except where it will deform a bit). Even topology also helps a ton when zbrushing. You're redeeming yourself a bit here, so keep it up mate.
You have really inspired when I saw the Zen Garden bit. I'll put a concept together soon. For environment. Sounds really cool. I am going to aim at doing something incredibly minimal. I want to focus on an environment where people relax and meditate from their hard duty in space.
Other than what's already been mentioned(posture, use a tablet etc.) I can recommend workrave. It makes you take breaks every 3-4 minutes for 30 seconds so that the cartilage in your wrist can relax into its normal position. http://www.workrave.org/ Install it and have the patience to follow it.
Last weekend I went to the in-laws house. This is really relaxing. All I do there is sit back, eat, watch TV and chill. Most weekends I work twelve hour days, just like every other day. I'm freelance, and I work a lot, but I pick projects I like.
From my experience interviews can go two ways. If its a big company they might ask HRish questions like how would you behave during a specific situation, what is your best quality / worst behavior. Smaller companies tend to have a more relaxed approach to interviewing, its more of a casual conversation.
Thanks for answer. I've tried relax but nothing happened. Atleast nothing good happened. :D But I solved the problem now. I just remodeled that piece and did the unwrap again. Now it's good I think. The seams looks ugly but in the tutorial it's the same so I hope it will be good in the end. Thank you again!
I'm in Melbourne, tho not searching for a Studio slot, freelancing is more my thing or was up until recently, now I'm in it just for fun and relaxation. If you're degree'd? could try your luck OS where a much wider scope of oppotunities for potential employment exist, AAA or otherwise but typically brutally competitive too…
Hey, Thanks for the comment Jigs. The arms are bent at the elbows a bit. I've never modeled a character in this relaxed, palms forward T pose before so I've been playing with them a lot trying to get them to look right. After work I'll post some more angles maybe pull some shapes around.
Think I've found a serious bug? My Mesh (exported as .FBX) Starting UVs: Finishing UVs: My Mesh after using IPackThat: Why is this happening? EDIT: This only happens with an FBX version of the object. I've tried a couple of quickfix solutions such as relaxing the UVs again (just to check), resetting the Normals, resetting…
