I think it lacks shadows on the base. Light from the sabers and scene lights should cause shadows to be case on the pedestal. I think the cloth needs a fabric texture too. You could spruce the pedestal too, why not make a high poly one and use MR materials? The cloth doesn't hang very naturally over his legs. Cloth is hard! -

Interior scene,I have a mr sun and sky with portal light through a window.I was considering using GI over fg bc of flickering that seems to come with animated objects or moving camera. I also gather sometimes it might be due to sampling issues when using mental ray.I am guessing unlike GI, fg maps are resolution dependent? -
