Figure it wouldn't hurt to ask as well, is the mesh available (say in OBJ format)? A friend of mine is making a mod for Empty Epsilon (an open source bridge sim) and wanted to include ME ships, but we have not found a textured model for any of the reapers.
Well, looks great. Not much to add that already hasn't been said except that the bridge of the nose looks really wide from the front. Would it be possible to get a close-up of the hair texture? Would be curious to see how you went about it.
The biggest problem I see is that the bridge of the nose and the surrounding polys that connect to the eye are pushed back too far and are possibly a little too far apart as well. At this point it's moot since you seemed to have moved to texturing but something to keep in mind.
I have a FR on my guitar, but I haven't played any songs with a drop D. I do have a fixed bridge on a guitar of mine, so all should be good. Best scenario: Use a drop D on one guitar and use E standard for the other.
Amplify Color is nice for color LUTs on mobile. You could use that for pulling some saturation into the ambient lit parts. Unity fastbloom should be ok on mobile. That effect of the bridge building itself is nice. How mobile are you going, can you afford dynamic shadows?
@Sunray Nose looks fine, most of it will be covered too and only the bridge will be visible. As for the ears, I think the problem lies around the ear lobe. Perhaps it's just too defined and the curve need along the edge of the side profile needs to be smoothed out. If that makes any sense
Here is a scene from the first chapter of my book. The main character comes across an ancient bridge that has been broken down on a pathway in a snowy chasm. Im sorry about the image quality, i think I took the pic with my phone a while back.
Yea the beams need work. Kind of tried and true but I suggest doing something like a bridge strut, a few crisscross pieces, some old rivets or or bolts covered in years of paint and grime, cold be cool? Maybe some wires or pipes running along them...
So, that's what I've got right now. I added plane glass with its own textures, edit the metal part of the bridge, and added some godsray on the scene. There are some bugs with uvs, also textures look not so good as I want them to be, this all need improvements.
For #3 try: http://polycount.com/discussion/149508/maxscripts-stuffs-i-use-and-whatnot/p1 When I used Max heavily I had that hot-keyed and it saved me a large amount of time. Especially when I had to bridge a tri.
