@P442: Thanks I'll have some more renders of the garden soon, baking light maps is eating up a lot of time! Dragon maps updated - I normally just include the diffuse to show UV usage but it does look more complete with all of them out there. The dragon uses a combination of the spec and diffuse for it's spec / spec power.…
As I mentioned in the other thread I think this would be a great time to see if it would be possible to use multiple resources, and dota communities and try to do a community update like tf2 did. They had their update with robot hats that had the blog post and comic all made by the community, and there were like 60 some…
I have just updated the original posting. We have just released a MASSIVE (and free) content update (Jungle DLC) for 'ORION: Dino Horde' on Steam and it completely changes the game. We are going to be continually updating the game (for free) ALL Summer and so we need a few more helping hands as we create some amazing…

just have frequent updates, or simply safe in the unity assets folder as with every update Unity should update your meshes, material definitions or textures. Imo Unity should be the viewer, not Maya as it totally depends on the shaders you might use in Unity. Perhaps we see a sync app someday here in the tech section that…
I took a peek at the page source, and it seems like the turntable is done with a simple javascript rather than flash or quicktime. I'm thinking it shouldn't be too hard to work that into a portfolio website. $(document).ready(function(){ var images_array = new Array(); var current_pic = 0; var is_drag_binded = false;…
Ting teeny update.... Not that it's a big deal or anything but we figured we would update you guys on even the smallest of news. Honestly, it's so minor we don't know why we are even writing a news post about it. Of all the unimportant things to fill the community on this has to be the the most trite and paltry bit of news…
Wow thanks for the detailed feedback again guys, much appreciated! I wish I had read the feedback before I updated to how the scene is presently as I would've made your suggested changes :D @matroskin- Thanks, I forgot to mention last time that I would be making rock faces/cliff areas to occlude the player and environment…
I updated parts of the metal structure outside and did a first snow pass on the exterior using megascans tileables + assets: The road is using displacement currently and is quite heavy on performance I think... I'll definitely have to do an optimization pass on a few things, but that's a problem for future me :#
There is also Affinity Photo where you could use "embedded" doc as a layer mask. Without any grouping, more like regular Photoshop mask. And this embedded doc doesn't have to be saved to update changes as smart object need to in Photoshop. You just paint inside it and evrything is updating in evry layer using it as a mask…
