though yeah, this would be a cool MMO, but I can see it already, you just start out, and have your organism eating little things, and some jerk just swoops down in his saucer and blows up your planet, just because they're bored.

Mainly because Zbrush isn't liking my work computer :) I might have to either deal with the sluggishness or just take it home, but I could've sworn I saw a rather simple max tutorial using subdivision modeling that provided some pretty nice results.
I had to show a bar tender here in tokyo how to make flaming absynthes once. took ages for his boss to let me set fire to the spoons. when it was first legal in the UK everyone was mad for it. I drank some and almost lost my vision.
I would brighten the render and fix some of the wonky edges around the headlights from the hood and make the front fenders match the concept, they kinda just swoop over it instead of being a part of it. It would be good to add some more depth to the wheels as well they feel sorta flat.
Definitely, Spoon. Much obliged! I'm going to see how much noise I can push on it before it loses the render target of the original Tracer character model, though I may get lazy and just leave the albedo and gloss flat as I have right now.
