I may be wrong here but I thought that if the texture tiled then it would continue seamlessly across the planes? Also creepy avatar man.... edit.....beaten to the punch not once, but twice (that will teach me for looking up how to spell seamlessly :D ).....still creepy avatar though
This is a really cool. Though, I don't understand the correlation between the chains on one sphere and the marionette on the other. It just feels disconnected. Maybe if the spell came out of the ground instead of from above it would really pull it all together? I'm not sure, what are you thoughts?
I think a composite map will only blend properly at render time? I don't think its a realtime viewport effect? There might be some other viewport shaders that blend in realtime, like the 3point shader, XOXOXodolo's shader (however you spell his name) or ShaderFX.
...does it really need to be spelled out? It's sacreligiously delicious! It's pretty much a commentery on the fact that jesus' method of "saving" the world was by letting himself be crucified. At least that's what I took of it. And now the fact that I had to explain it, makes it lose some of its charm. Oh well.
yeah i doubt it was a scientist doing research... i mean, it'd have to be a crazy scientist to come up with such amazing spelling errors, weird art that nobody understands and a sense of never quite getting what the fuss is all about. I think it's somebody pranking us :)
Marine: I sometimes find that works for me too , especially when I hit a dry spell while modelling something where I'm trying to plan too much. Sometimes nothing beats starting with a single quad and edge pulling until something cool appears :)
I gota agree with rick on this ... i was gona post a comment about black hawk down .. ths shouldnt be a big deal , no one has to play it ... and if ppl are changed or harmed by playing this game then we have somthing worse to worrie about ... apart from my spelling
