Got some clothes onto her, first time doing any form of clothes or armour so parts may be a little weird. I am trying to find a way of putting the rope that's currently across the shoulders in a believable place, I tried across the chest but this didn't look too nice aesthetically. I also started on some textures for her…
Looking very good. One thing that jumps out at me is the belts, especially around the torso, seem to not have tension. So my suggestion is to tighten up the straps on the arms a bit as they look to be cloth and should be tighter, deforming the clothing below. For the torso, the thick leather straps don't look to be holding…
Right now this is where i am. I made notes myself of the things i want to make it better like - Work the hands better - Add more details to cloth - Take out the marvelous designer feeling from the cloth - Finish all mid level details and go to high details - Do the hair SO what you guys think so far?
I agree with the other comments on here, but great sculpting and direction so far. The cloth, especially on the bandannas, feels a little papery to me. Maybe the cloth is really thin and frayed more at the edges. This might work well with the rugged look you have going. Or, maybe it should be thicker and rounder at the…
Current update! I have had the bank holiday to work on my projects and i am slowly getting there on this. I still have loads to do on the overcoat, i want to put some awesome patches on it and also create some holes through the cloth. Please share any good cloth rips/tear tutorials you have guys. C&C welcome as always!
Thanks for feedback guys, i made some terrain for presentation, and removed that color correction stuff. Sorry for taking so long, i was uhm... a bit busy with other model. Good eye i guess, i didn't baked with the cloth since the without version would have had those shadows and i wasn't even sure at that time if i will…
Oh my god. This is fucking awesome. Straight to inspiration, this shall go! Is most of that cloth done in an external program? I suggest you look at giving her face a bit of wear. Compared to her clothing/gear, her face is very clean. While it does attracts more attention to the facial area, I'd say a scratch or two would…
Looking nice man, looking forward to seeing the finished texture! I know it's a wip right now so feel free to slap me about, but I think that the colour of her hair is too similar to the shade of her clothing? In the splash art her hair is more of an Emerald and her clothes are quite mossy coloured. Great work though man,…
Beauty shot so far. Loin cloth is just a dynamesh placeholder for where I was sort of thinking the direction I wanted it to head. Any and all crits desperately wanted here. Specifically towards gear. What does he need? I feel that he's uncivilized, but needs more to cover him than a piece of cloth to at least show some…
Polycount doesnt look bad but if you must keep under that limit there are some models that can be further optimised. The foliage is the first place to do that, then the stairs, doors and the table cloth. The cloth can be subdivided one level to make a high poly then optimise it a lot to get a low poly and bake out a…
