Best Avenue for Shoe Design?
I want to start designing women's shoes digitally. Zbrush is my program of choice. My main question is, does anyone know of a tool that can help me get measurements/proportions right? 3000 is not that much :-) I need a CS6 (PS/AI) license :-|, haven't got one anymore. But I can't get a new one either so I need to find someone to buy it from I guess. As a Maya user, start using geodesic voxel binding. It gets 80-90% of the way there. It's been a huge gift of time. Max's system hasn't been updated in years but it WAS better than Maya for a really long time, which wasn't saying much, out of the box without Geodesic Voxel skinning they both still suck. Best way to pack UVs for detailed weapons?
I usually separate a bunch of parts into different UV groups because I struggle to fit everything into a single set without the UVs being shrunk to crappy resolutions. Is this okay for use in games? More specifically, in Unity. -
