I actually really like the second one, whereas most fans don't. I liked how they went a totally different direction and put it in a new setting. The whole film has a mood to it too, moreso than the first one I think. It's dark and dirty and it just feels like it's 120 degrees in every scene. Good stuff. -

I really have no idea what the equivalents would be in Max and MR terminology. They are just simple area lights with default values other than the different intensities, which were 3.0 W/srm2 and 2.0 W/srm2. The GI is set to 0.75 W/srm2. Im rendering a highpoly decimated model that is around 11 million tris. 3ds max is lagging pretty bad. Does anyone know any settings to optimize so that 3ds max can run smoother. These are my pc settings. AMD Phenom II X6 1075T- 3.0 GHZ 8GB RAM ATI Radeon HD 5600 thanks. -

Don't get screwed, just get regular, better yet look on eBay for CS3 or CS2. EDIT - I got wind of some hardware vendor selling CS4 with some kind of video editing hardware. Gonna go look and see if I can find it. It's a good way to get in on Adobe software on the cheap. ($300 hardware for CS4 bundle)
