I would get rid of the circle base you have your objects spinning on. It's too basic and has been done way too many times. I would assume developers want to vomit every time they see something like that. Now, if you are going to do it, make the base into something creative. Like if its your tank, sculpt something for the…
On top of the issue of the previous lead being an ass, there seems to be quite a lot at play here. Dustin has a lot of great points. Since a lot of ground has been covered already I'll just toss in a few remarks and questions. - Where is the Art Director in this story ? While Art Leads do play a huge role in the visual…
+1 TheGabmeister. If you need the hard surface model to conform to a figure Mic Pav is a great resource. You can sculpt in Blender but I dont think it has the tools for a quick solution. There is also 3DCoat and then a few free alternatives but I think ZB and 3DC are your best bet. Tutorials on these apps are all over the…

I was responsible for sculpting the main characters in Zbrush…
Hey guys! This is something I'm working on my free time, its a fanart from Dolores of Westworld. I'm still working on the sculpt but I finally found sometime to learn a bit of Keyshot, and I couldn't resist using her. I hope you like. As always Crits and feedbacks are always welcome and encouraged. Thanks!
you cant use those textures without touching them, thats for sure. there is always some tweaking involved to get the right feeling, but using photographs for textures is commonly used. go and check nDo, which is a free photoshop plugin that enables you to convert photos into normal maps, so you dont have to sculpt them...
Our pipeline at work goes something like this: * Concepts and design approval. * Sculpting in zbrush, often on tried and true base meshes. * Low poly retopology, often in max, which gets a quick once over by the animators before unwrapping. * Unwrap * Materials, using max and photoshop. * Final approval. * Final tweaks...…

Toggle local symmetry, and maybe set/clear pivot. I can't remember then name of the menu they're under off the top of my head, but it's where the symmetry settings are. As you probably guessed :P Seen this? http://eat3d.com/free/zbrush_stone Sculpting damage with morph targets. Could also use noisemaker on various layers.
