NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory http://www.jpl.nasa.gov/ The Human Interfaces group at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory is part of the organization that is responsible for the software and operations of our missions including the Curiosity Mars Rover that landed recently. The difference appears to be whether you're paid for a product/service or paid for your time. This makes sense, you're effectively acting as an employee in the second case and therefore come under the licensing requirements of the company paying you. Item 14 on the page explains it pretty clearly
I highly suggest you to post this in the Boxcutter discord or blenderartist thread, which is regularly checked by the devs. I love muh Polycount and would like to see more Blender threads here, but when it's about an addon that has an enormours help service elsewhere...
I'd do it just for fun if I didn't have a million other things to do. You might try posting in unpaid work (unless you can pay?) and see if anyone is willing to lend their services. http://www.polycount.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=44
Its £320 on the UK Dell site I think and only £260 on ebuyer.co.uk - I have used ebuyer for bits and bobs over the years and there a reputable seller. Was worried I wouldn't be eligible for the warranty pixel+ service but just call Dell and its fine.
Fantastic job, I must say. Although I still don't understand why Tesselation is thrown in everywhere like that, wouldn't a Sub-D modeling be much better for certain part, like the pipes for example? Oh well, fan-service I guess.
I mean if this is just a mistake, than im good. Not beeing able to download without a subscription is kinda shity but at least i can life with it. However deleting your customers points would be a death sentence for the service, at least for me. Thank you for clarification.
This is the best retopo tool out there for Maya, Thanks a ton @Froyok . And thank you very much for making this free, love your retopo tool. Started to use this today with Maya 2015(latest service pack), will post here if i find any bugs.
Probably better posted on the shapeways forum tbh. I've noticed that their customer service seems to be pretty good though and people who get bad prints often get a free reprint, so perhaps this is an attempt to cut down on the number of reprints they have to do?
Scaling works just fine for me, are you on the latest service pack? You need to hold down CTRL to scale on x and y. Holding SHIFT will scale on either x or y, depending on mouse direction. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3191007/stuff/max_2014_uvscale.gif
