Hello PC community, I have some issue with wrong welded vertices for model. I have already rigged car, and when trying to open one of its doors a few vertices are stretching from the shell of car. It's the other way round really. i.e. where there is a UV split a hard edge can prevent artefacting (it's not compulsory) Adding hard edge in the middle of a UV shell is completely fine and requires no modification of the UVs -

I think what's making it odd to me, aside from it having a happy face, is how smooth the body is, when it should really have tons of wrinkles and skin folds around the each appendage. Most part of a turtle you would see would be the shell, not so much the green, squishy insides. If you made it a shell, it would help avoid… -

to me it looks like the inner and outer shell of your crate interfere during the bake. probably the normals of the inner shell are projected to the normal map of the outer one and the other way round. first of all, check if your normals are all pointing in the right direction. then, try to explode your mesh. move any parts… -
