I'm basically looking for this kind of a character: https://d2ujflorbtfzji.cloudfront.net/package-screenshot/d17e6346-aa8a-487a-8c31-67a81b141ea0_orig.jpg with my modified costume. Still welcoming bids
Hello i have a little problem with the vertex paint in 3ds max. Unfortunately i have collapsed my vertex paint with my editable poly. So my game engine cant recognize the vertex paint. is there a trick to take back the information in the editable poly to copy in a new vertex pain modifier? sorry for my bad English im…
If I remember though, when I unwrapped something this big it gave me texel density that looked bad. For instance when I unwrapped a house and added a tiled texture it looked "fuzzy" or not crisp.
Thanks but I am admittedly confused by these directions. Create flat polygon in which angle, the good one or the bad one? What is auto align? How do you align a symmetry? Manually moving it?
I just bought a huge flat screen tv for my bed room, then 3D tvs came out, i felt like i got ripped off somehow....damn technology and there upgrades...
ah nvm, it was blank anyways. I just enabled Mass FX toolbar at that place and back in business. My bad, just goes to show how paranoid these tiny things can make you :) .
First Attempt to do a real time Hard Surface character. Ergh, pretty bad smoothing groups... 14k Tris/ 3 2048 maps. https://m1.behance.net/rendition/modules/132046421/hd/c12c9a993e9a3beaa2438ca71331885e.png [vv]105374187[/vv]
You're metal texture isn't bad, but the scratches just look plain silly the way they are now. Check out this link: http://cg.tutsplus.com/articles/news/how-to-hand-paint-convincing-metal-textures/ Follow that tutorial, and you'll have beautiful metal textures.
