I'd sculpt from an existing reference and aim for a specific render target. There's promise here, but a lot of the sculpts feel like the lack purpose or clear direction.
It's a shame they keep a show like "Human Target" on the air and move Fringe to Fridays.. why not just put it after idol on Thursdays again. Fox sucks.
I'm sure it will get there. It actually seems like they are open to targeting game dev as one of the primary markets for Modo now, and not just as a product design tool.
seems like the pm-spammers only target lurkers with low post counts. Maybe they are actually trying to encourage lurkers to post, the spammers are so kind!
Don't know Maya, but another method could be to copy the mesh, deform it into a straight shape, UV that, then use the original as a morph target to reverse-deform the copy.
Dunno about the former, but the latter mod (with volleyball and highnoon) is Target Quake 3 by Avatar, which is quite hard to obtain without waiting a long time.
i drew up some concepts for a new character during break and started modeling it out today. I plan on a 10tri target with probably a 2048 diffuse/spec/normal. C+C plz!
