      Trying to learn some digital painting. Starting off with a sort of silhouette, to get used to PS brushes and my tablet more. Just with what I've done so far, I've learned more from this that it might appear.

      uh yeah i have access to a copy of zbrush and a pressure tablet. however i don't have any skills in the program at all. i can barely move around effectivly in it let alone try and model anything.

      I've been moving and the holidays stole my time but I have finally had time to sit down with my new tablet and made some quick studies, I need it and it's fun :) Here's a sample of today's studies.

      Hey everyone. Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada, and I don't have my tablet on me so no texture work, modeled a few more tools/melee weapons though, name a pipe wrench, a shovel, and a handgun (M1911)

      What kind of sick perverted individual would design a keyboard with a power button where the printscreen is - and what idiot would buy one? Me :poly127: Bang went 4 hours work with a crescendo of 100 unclosable tablet driver windows. I've now removed the button - should've thought of that sooner - a warning to all.

      so yeah me and the family are off to seoul for 2 weeks soon. anyone recommend stuff to do how many polycounters in seoul anyway:) man, i hate flying and we are having to fly for 13.5 hours aggh I might buy a tablet and do some zbrush if I get time

      Thanks for the help guys. I was stuck with an older version of Photoshop and worse, no graphic tablet, so I couldn't use all of these techniques, but I still got a couple of handy hints that made things a little bit less cumbersome. Cheers.

      I think it's better he start out with paper. Since going digital you'll need a tablet unless you want to practice with a mouse*. *I used a mouse back in 2012. I drew a whole bunch of characters but it was so ghetto.
