While the object is added to the motion mixer it is in "mixer mode" and can not be manipulated traditionally, it is playing whatever is in the motion mixer. How can I weld nearby verts? For optimizing and removing duplicate vertices or double faces id select all vertices in max and do a weld at .001, how can I do this in blender? Max to Maya: Is there a tool similar to the tool in Max called Polydraw Optimize in Maya?
I'm starting to learn Maya after 5 years of Max and I'm really missing my Polydraw Optimize tool that I had out of the box in Max. Polydraw Optimize once selected could essentially collapse any edge you clicked on and if you pressed shift it would remove full edge loops. Is there something like this in maya or a plugin… -

Here's the changes close to what you suggested. I did the shirt and eye changes just like the image you made but I had a bit of difficulty with the mouth. I only removed one of the loops around the lips instead of both because removing both changed the shape of the mouth. I also made some changes that weren't in your image… -

If you're baking to object space you can add and remove as much geometry as you like with any technique that you like, and convert object space to tangent space with handplane at the end. Object space normal maps don't care about your lowpoly mesh normals. If you're baking to tangent space, you can't remove geometry… -

Yeah, I think it's intentional, for safety. It sounds as though they put the front seat headrests in though. If it's moving your head forward, then it's not correct. Typically, I think they've been angling them on the front seats, because people like to pimp the backs of their seats now. But that doesn't apply to the back… -

I am not clear on the issue. Are you saying the detailed sculpt exist on higher after you removed it from the lower or are you saying that the problem persist on the lower subdivision after you remove it from the higher? In either case you will need to go back and erase it from each subdivision with the smooth brush.…
