I've seen it but cannot talk about it; it's still taboo. IIRC, there's some closed door screenings of the demo at E3 but I don't know about it being shown publically.
I agree that this guy is a douche, and usually full of shit, but that's actually true, haha. At least according to Food, Inc. Anyway, trying to profit from it is still a dick move.
IIRC realityengine supports full colored specular, or simply a greyscale specular with an RGB value to tint your spec, but these might have been custom shaders we had.
What about slow in/out, arcs, and exaggeration? What about Newton's three laws of motion? Close, but remember that gravity affects objects equally regardless of mass or size.
snemmy - the thing that irks me even more is great art , but shit gameplay. mentioning animation also I hate mocap without animation blending between sequences.
iirc, the statue ingame render is just the diffuse and ambocc, no spec or normal or lighting there, the ingame model itself looks much better than that and looks more detailed too.
irk...sorry about that. I'm surprised about that, usually IKEA's stuff is okay at best! I still wonder how a company can market a plank of wood as a shelf.
Heh Ulduar was the weekly quest this week. :) I'm 50% through the LichKing fight on my Icc progression ... but yeah I'm going back to get those achievements too! :)
Hm...if the photoshop image is exactly what you want, look into Tonemapping/postprocess (in worldinfo/properties iirc). With a few quick tweaks you could get pretty close.
