Not by default, but you can add one yourself: "Customize > Customize User Interface" then choose "UVW Unwrap" in "Group" and scroll down till you find "TV Element Mode". And just give that a hotkey of choise. Hope that helps :)
Yeah, have to agree, the whole thing with not being able to access backpack and your equipment at the same time is annoying. Hopefully some nice modders can do some magic on the interface (and fix some of those other bugs)
Ah, OK. Then it looks like this is a Photoshop problem. I forgot that you changed the texture, and re-saved it. What is the option you use to change the bit depth... what is the exact name in the Photoshop interface of the buttons you press?
Customize User Interface - Group: Main UI Category: All Commands This is where I keybind from for everything in 3ds just cause other methods give me problems in general look for an Action called : Chamfer Options
https://wiki.zoho.com/ Seems pretty nice, it has the ability to make it private, also the interface is not too bad. The free version does have some limitations, but I don't know how quickly one would reach them.
Yeah; I'd also like to know how this topic progresses! @renderhjs If you can embed flash sliders in 3dsmax now, could you make interfaces based on flash for controlling modifiers in 3dsmax. For example thumbnails for morphtargets?
I think I see what you mean about the nostrils. Thanks for the feedback, I'll work on it! Felipe, yeah! Now that I'm starting to wrap my head around the CRAZY user interface. :poly127: Side view:
Seems to be working now. No idea what I did to fix it, random combination of hotkeying the grid and manually setting it through the interface. I was having it where each layer needed to have the snap setting turned on, quite frustrating.
Editable Poly refers to the Object type, as opposed to Editable Mesh. Edit Poly refers to the modifier. The base object can be of any type, but these shortcuts operate within the Edit Poly modifier. In conclusion: Max needs an interface overhaul.
Well, if BitTorrent is out of the question, you may as well not bother. The updates are propogated via a BitTorrent interface and run at a lower download speed if you don't have the proper ports open (obviously...). Personal opinion on the matter, of course...
