Hello. I made this for the Reallusion Digital Human Contest 2020, and won 1st place. https://www.reallusion.com/character-creator/event/2020-cc-digital-human-contest/winner.html Part of the requirement of the contest was to post WIPs of the character on ArtStation's blogging feature. So if anyone likes to see how I made…
When i 1st heard this i couldn't get it out of my head its so catchy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=krK5D9Vl5CI Appropriate ^ Are people posting up their favorite tracks? this is one of mine, just curious if anyone has, also posting more music because it helps with everything. (usually for me. anyway.)
this is looking wicked man. I really like what you have going on with the terrain in that 1st shot. right now there is no focal point, maybe use some highlights to guide the viewers eye. the image is also really dim right now too, which is making it bland/washing it out. maybe something like this?
1st. way to fix it is taking the top one without the damage/error and copy pasting it down to the others to fix that. 2nd. Giving this thread a read though <<click Yes read all of it, I did on a sunday worth it if your serious about this stuff, not just think it is cool. 3rd, doing what DLK said.
Heyooo just a quick bump cos the results were announced! http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-21/ I came 9th overall, and 1st in graphics category! definitely encouraging me to think about expanding the game/universe :) soon as I get some down time from smash crew I'm on it!
I watched the 1st and 2nd season. It is worth seeing, but not my favourite show. I always found it a little bit disappointing the lack of violence on a TV series about a serial killer. I belive they would loose some public with more violence but I'd prefer something in the style of SAW or even Inglorious Basterds...
Thanks CB. I think the shader might be written this way: 1. multiply the 1st bitmap by the inverse of the painted image. 2. multiply the 2nd bitmap by the painted image. 3. finally, add the two results. So you get a simple lerp. Who wouldn't fail a class or two for a little extra dough?!
well im in same position as ur student. People have been telling me number 1.) 1st page should be his gallery 2.) clear navigation 3.) bright renders, with multiple angles and wires hers mine (far from perfect) but been taking peoples suggestions and working on it http://willtruran.com/
OK, well you're a game artist. So really what you are is a traditionalist. You like to make things based on real life. Personally, I'd look for paintings made by Winslow Homer or John Singer Sargent and anything from the Renaissance. And then I'd look for an artsy chick......or maybe 1st...I don't know.
This is looking really cool. In the 1st and 2nd picture, the shadow outlines created by the light coming from the door look a bit jagged. I'm not sure if that's the skylight or directional light, but maybe try toning that down a bit to create a smoother transition into the shadows. The whole feel and ambience of the scene…
