should be a pretty easy transition, were pretty easy going up here. though if you are going to live in Montreal it can be helpful to learn a bit of French, you obviously wont need it at work but it can be helpful on the streets, since there are a lot of people in Quebec who only speak French or have very basic english. -

Being hable to add some details on top of tilled textures is good. That's kind of 'Mega textures' id's tech direction.… -

We speak 3 languages at home...My wife and I speak English, I speak Dutch to our kids and my wife speaks French to them. It can get a bit messy at the dinner table since we don't have a family language. So far the kids aren't confused and pick it up very fast. Gorgeous! Loving the diffuse work. I'm not sure if you can spare the polies or the texture space, but I think the character would really benefit from having the skirt double sided. That way you could make the inside of the skirt darker and much simpler in design, to reduce the noisiness in that area, and help the designs… -

Re: Listing Foreign Languages on your Résumé
Why not list basic, intermediate, and fluent all on your resume? It'll barely take up any room unless your a linguist. Basic knowledge still shows you are at least able and willing to pickup a language. If you took high school Spanish it's probably not worth listing, but if you know some French and are applying for studios… -

If you're in Windows 7 make sure the keyboard hasn't switched to French. I was getting fucking pissed when Photoshop hot keys would stop working, but then realized it was some dumb combination where Photoshop and Win7 use the same hot key that activates French keyboard and thus changes what all the keys do making Photoshop… -
