I've read several times that Modo is not the best solution for game asset creation. Also it does not play nice with Unity, when it comes to animated models and Unity. I also read that the baking tools are quite useless. Similar to Blender, you don't have any cage baking. That is just what I read. I tried the demo of 601…
Hello I just graduated from a Game Development program but want to go more in depth on character creation. I found this guy names Ryan Kingslien and people praise him for his teaching and sculpting skills. He recommended this book.…
@Brian "Panda" Choi for rigging I highly recommend Rigging Dojo, they have a character rigging 101 and facial rigging 101 class that really go in depth and give you good foundations. I'm currently taking the rigging 101 and learning a ton within just the first few weeks.
This is a monster tool as it enables you to access ALL of Seneca Menard's scripts from one button. Big thanks to Etereas AKA Cristobal Vila for this  Firstly you will need Seneca's Scripts. These are the most up to date versions. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1615250/senemodo.zip Then you need Etereas script tool.…

Stereoscopic rendering in modo 401 p1 - This is a quick review of the stereo options in modo 401 and how to create an anaglyph in Photoshop using the modo output. Stereoscopic rendering in…
