great work! the armour design is something special. thinking about small tweaks: the eyes. make use of a sphere for the eyes and wrap the lids around the form. -

Nice, now make the dress go down to the floor, then wrap it in a long trenchcoat with wizardy sleeves, and you'd be getting close to the designs I'm having to deal with! ; ) -

N-gons in high poly model to bake to normals?
Does it matter? My low poly cage with be all quads. I'm doing a lot of detail in my high poly and having all these wrap around edges is getting messy. -
