I've been out of country all weekend. Usually Eric and I take care of Tech Talk. I just finished cleaning it up but they seem to be coming in rather fast.
I remember having a similar issue... but i resolved in a "extreme" way: remodeling the entire problematic part lol Thanks for the info, Eric. I didn't know what caused it.
Thanks again Eric - that helps ; ) Yes, though it is convenient to be able to save 'materials', in this case I guess I'll lose all the normal details and other overlays I added : (
Yeah, Eric's got it. Do whatever it takes to make them look good, using whatever method is fastest. Photosource or painting may both be the best approaches, depending on the circumstance.
Weird, I'm sure .selectedVerts was in the Maxscript reference... Eric: Glad you got it working... I knew my method didn't work, I just wanted to know why
Thanks eric for the link. It makes me think that "1500" mean the total number of vertex in the uv editor. What i have to find out is how to count them in blender.
I don't need a quality website, just something to host files and the occassional pimp. Eric probably has a website already (or it's meant for offline use) since that's for business purposes.
Hi my name is Eric Kessler and I am looking for either paid free-lance work or for a full time position. Here is a link to my online portfolio: www.erickesslerart.com Cheers, ~Kessler
Just updating links send by @Eric Chadwick: "Some good reading...": Polygon Count - polycount; "Empty distance between UV islands is needed for texture filtering.": Edge padding - polycount.
