Will the session be live streamed or posted to the Allegorithmic website at a later date for those who cannot make it to GDC this year? It would be great to see how Substance was used in production by a such a big AAA studio.
Hey I got the nuc too, works great as a htpc streaming from the file server or running netflix etc! Also, worth to check that your mobo bios supports 3tb hds.
Cool rocks bro. Even though they're going to be under a stream you might want to break up the pattern with some smaller props (grass, lilly pads, on the other rocks etc.)
Dude, you're on the internet. Just do a quick google search and enjoy. You can either torrent or watch it streaming. Most shows come up a few hours after they air in the east.:)
My latest character is Malon from Lon Lon Ranch. I finished her sculpt and learned how to make a quick render using Zbrush with the help from one of my viewers on stream (KoiiWasTaken).
You showed me this on my stream, Just wanted to drop in and say I think it looks a lot better with the changes. New color scheme makes it look much more realistic and grounded Keep it up!
Reserved a seat back before they pushed the date back. Forgot about it today and didn't get an email about the stream happening. GG Hopefully it'll be up online somewhere for the people that missed it or couldn't get in...
Here's my first attempt at tb2, with all the skinny-goodness: Gir: in the tb2 beta thread you were talking about doing a stream and then youtubing it. Did you ever get a youtube version up?
You can also join one of my games design students that draws every day at 8 am. Here is a link to his live stream thread. http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=112877
@Bal: I´m not sure, but i think you have to call glSetTexture(it was this function i think) for each texture(eventhough you are streaming), so many little little textures will kill your batchcount.
