We are in an overly long console cycle and PC sales are dwindling - AMD announced they are laying off 12,000 people do to the pc sales slump. Get your ass onto tablets, quickly. -

Hey, I'm new on this site and I'm currently in progress of creating more for this sketchbook. Just got photoshop and my tablet but I've been drawing and making art for my entire life. I am a 2D artist. Here's to hoping my work is worth this thread :D -

Doesn't mean you shouldn't try. :) I'm going the tablet route myself, bought one specifically for GDC (plus they're kinda cool). Time to frantically polish the portfolio before I ship out. -
