oh and the obligatory blender question: how did you get around mirroring normals in the realtime view of blender? are you getting around it, or are you not mirroring any uv's?
I think the closest you'll get to that is the IRC channel. A Skype group for answering people's tech questions in realtime seems like a pretty long-shot idea :P

for which reason do you have to do it? zbrush normalmaps are just not made for realtime display. Its starts with the lack of soft normals and ends with it not beeing synched to anything?
Does it need to be modeled? Animated? Realtime? You could simply do it in texture, or instance a single shape around, I'm sure max has an array scatterer or two.
