Man... What a game! I really liked Death Stranding story and I wanted do build something from it. This is my take for character Sam Porter Bridges. Find me here: https://www.instagram.com/velimirkondic/?hl=sr
01: Bridge 02: Over-World 03: Huts Here's some art that I've been creating for a 3D side-scroller project, it's based on a hand painted/ World Of Warcraft art style. Any feedback would be much appreciated!
@Cynic - Thank you :) Here's a few more 30min spitpaints I did for the Facebook group: "Bridge in the Fog" "Organic Mech Suit" C&C encourage as always! Help me improve! :) Thanks
If things are planar and welded in that area and no vertices are doubles, well then you can also do a pure cleanup by deleting one of the rows of polygons in the trouble area and then just do a bridge to rebuild that row fast.
Cool characters @Next very well done. Working on a top down game myself but have been more focused on the environmental art. Looking forward to character creation when I get to that bridge
@radioactivebritt I'm loving your flower centerpiece and the way you are using a river as the dividing element. It definitely bridges what I would imagine to be the landscape outside the temple and injects it quite well into the structure.
Is there a "what's new" feature list anywhere and a showcase for them? From what I've seen so far 4R7 doesn't really look that interesting. Poly modeling and a Keyshot bridge isn't really that exciting.
it looks to me like maybe the small square piece is flipped. The same thing happens a lot when using the bridge tool while modeling...have you tried welding verts instead of edges?
Vailias: Tutorials on math as relating to shader shenanigans would be a godsend... Something to help bridge that gap for math-iliterates like myself seems crazy absent. Maybe after you've finished the chainsaw spheretank?
Looking for crits on the environment work I've been doing for the Artstation challenge! [ oversize PNG removed by moderator ] PC thread: http://polycount.com/discussion/185985/under-the-great-bridges-artstation-challenge-environment
