Gonna have to clean up the axe now , the cloth , the helmet and the wristbands , maybe I'll add some shoes to him in maya. I'm hoping to polypaint this week so that'll be great fun.… -

Did a little quick sketch last night. I'm calling it desert robot. I have a timelapse but it's huge and long so I think I wont bore anyone with it. First try with polypaint and with a head so go easy. Also i has no eyes, thats probably throwing away a chance to make it look more like a robot. Hope you like -point -

here's an update on the raptor skin texture. I played around with different colors and this was the best suited I could come up with that goes well with the metal Armour. I had a hard time finding good Raptor skin references to use so I just hand painted it all instead using polypaint on Zbrush. Let me know what you guys… -

Hi all, here is a new addition to my Sketchbook: Flying Genie Head, modeled all in Zbrush (apart from the feather, used maya hair for that, couldn't figure out a way to make it in Zbrush) also textured with polypaint and then photoshoped several passes including the smoke and flares etc. I hope you all like it, let me know… -

Just a clone, or a full fledged Makepolymesh3D? Have you deleted the cache? Are you changing the actual amount its looking to decimate by? Have you tried using one slider (%) vs another (point count)? Are you using any options that might hinder its ability to decimate (UVs and polypaint weighting?). Have you tried making a… -

Edited the head more. Hopefully it's closer. Threw some quick polypaint texturing onto the sculpt to see if it changed anything. Ok lets say a flat plane ... I mask a shape with the brush ... I invert the mask and extrude with deform inflate like by 2 ... then I remove the masking my problem is that now to polypaint over the top most part of the extruded parts I woudl like to be able to have again that mask but I do not have so how can I mask again… -
