Bottom of the plane could also be mirrored. Also it looks as if a lot of pieces there could be overlapped... what are all those eight-quad circles towards the bottom? I'm saying you can reverse engineer anything that is expressed algebraically. From the look of the above conversion to a height map, it looks blurred and leveled more than anything. Re: First semi-successful NM bake with some questions
Chase- here is the screenshot of my setup with the exploded scene. The red circled part is not even showing up in the bake. Also, the RTT keeps prompting me for a map slot for the MR AO map , but I deleted that path after I went back to scanline. It's not on the paths menu but I think it is still trying to calculate it. -

Can you please paste in any smaller screenshots of Crysis to prove your point? Eh, everyone is going in circles now about Avatar. It looks bad, the story sucks, they've used up all the good scenes in the trailers, and so on. Kinda boring, so it's fortunate that there's only 4 weeks of it left to endure. -

Played a bunch of co-op yesterday, was alot of fun. The thing that bothered me were some of the controls. Get to the chopper let to jumping over the railing a few times, having to circle around and really take the time to get the action right, gettin one shotted unluckaly and having to do it all over again. -

i usually create a curve with cv curve tool and a nurbs circle and then go surfaces > extrude. i have extrude set at: tube at path component profile normal curve range: complete output geomtery: polygons tess meth: control points then you will be able to control the mesh with your curve. hope that helps -
Re: Skull anatomy - critique please
Did a quick liquify on your skull. There are some areas you could revisit. The jaw, nose and eye sockets are a bit wide. Your teeth are kinda small and it seems like you sculpted the gums as part of the skull. The shape I circled is a bit off from the quarter view. hopefully the image shows what I´m talking about. -

I feel like I'm going around in circles, not really improving much, and I feel like it would be the same for the chestpiece, so I'm just gonna move on to the leg piece. I spent most time improving the blade, adding a few scratches and stuff to make it appear a bit less flat, but It's really not that huge a difference to me? -

Shellder is about the right size but the the Slowpoke part is a bit fat. The eyes shouldn't end halfway through the circle like yours but instead should start to curve back in a bit before stopping. Slowpoke should be a more bright pink and Shellder should be grey rather than brownish. Does look nice just not as true to…
