I'd agree with that, I could see a PC gamer dropping $350 on VR more quickly than a console gamer. But people were spending $150+ on those Rockband sets.
Sony receives some points for its low price. At 30 dollars for the most basic version it actually might get some popularity. Kinect retailing at 150 is a ridiculous decision.
In aus you can get the intuos 3 as a student version without the pretty packaging. It just comes in a brown box and has no software but it drops at least $150 off the price.
